Rat Nephrin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Nephrin in urine, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a Biotinylated Anti-Nephrin Antibody detected with HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers 0.312–20 ng/ml with a stated sensitivity of <0.112 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported overall recovery averages are 91% for serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
