Rat NADH Dehydrogenase, Quinone 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat NQO1 (NADH Dehydrogenase, Quinone 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells, where NQO1 is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-NQO1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and total assay time is 4h 30m.

The quantitative assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.126 ng/ml. Reported recovery data show average values of 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
