Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat N-Terminal Pro Brain Natriuretic Peptide (NT-ProBNP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a biotinylated anti-NT-ProBNP detection antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is proportional to NT-ProBNP concentration and is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is reported to have a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <27 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.
