Rat N-myc Downstream Regulated Gene 2 ELISA Kit

This immunoassay, supplied under the Antibodies.com Assays and Kits range, is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat N-myc Downstream Regulated Gene 2 (NDRG2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a sandwich ELISA format on a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

NDRG2-specific antibody is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by Biotinylated Anti-NDRG2 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported sensitivity is 0.141 ng/ml and the standard curve range is 0.312–20 ng/ml.

Reported average recovery in serum is 91% across an 80%–102% range, in EDTA plasma 90% (81%–100%), and in heparin plasma 84% (80%–89%), based on five replicates per sample type. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
