Rat Myogenic Differentiation ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8-well strips) with a MyoD1-specific capture antibody. Detection is achieved using a biotinylated anti-MyoD1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed via TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <27 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery is 95% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma, with linearity data provided for dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
