Rat Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a reported sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total incubation time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery was evaluated across five samples per matrix, yielding ranges of 80% - 102% (average 91%) for serum, 81% - 100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80% - 89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%), and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%) in each case across n=5.
