Rat Myelin Associated Glycoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat MAG/GMA (Myelin Associated Glycoprotein) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection performed on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) gave average values of 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Values were also reported at serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
