Rat Mucin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Mucin 1 (MUC1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-MUC1 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a sensitivity of less than 0.124 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Average spike-and-recovery values were 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5 for each), and sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 have been validated across all three sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
