Rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative measurement of rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-MMP9 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colourmetric signal that is read at 450 nm. Reported performance includes a measuring range of 2.34-150 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <1.1 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery is supplied for serum (range 80-102%, mean 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, mean 90%), and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, mean 84%), each tested with n=5. Dilution linearity across the tested sample types and dilution factors spans 74-108%.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date. A colorimetric microplate reader is required for readout.
