Rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 7 ELISA Kit

A rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 7 (MMP7) sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat MMP7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells where MMP7 is captured by the immobilized antibody, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-MMP7 antibody and then HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The reported product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.
