Rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 10 (MMP10) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for MMP10 is pre-coated onto the microplate, with detection carried out using a biotinylated anti-MMP10 antibody, HRP–avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader and the concentration of MMP10 is calculated from a standard curve.

The stated sensitivity is <0.053 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, range 83–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90–103%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 89–102%, average 95%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98%, 82–108%), EDTA plasma (90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109%, 87–91%) and heparin plasma (88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98%, 87–110%).

Supplied components include a pre-coated 96-well strip plate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at either +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
