Rat Mannose Binding Lectin ELISA Kit

Available through Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is configured for the quantitative measurement of rat Mannose Binding Lectin (also termed Mannan Binding Lectin/MBL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-MBL antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer specifications state an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.57 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery is 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity data is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
