Rat Malate Dehydrogenase 1 ELISA Kit

Supplied under the Antibodies.com brand, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat malate dehydrogenase 1 (MDH1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips and a colourimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Quoted performance figures include a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.072 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The procedure employs a biotinylated anti-MDH1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate; TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, producing a yellow colour whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to the MDH1 captured in each well.
