Rat Macrophage Stimulating Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit supplied by Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat MSP/MST1 (Macrophage Stimulating Protein) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Reported performance figures are a sensitivity of <0.109 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The assay follows a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format: standards or samples are captured by an immobilised antibody, detected with a Biotinylated Anti-MSP/MST1 Antibody, and visualised using an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to target concentration. Kit components include lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A and Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Reactivity is specified for rat samples.
