Rat Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 Alpha ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative measurement of rat MIP-1 alpha/CCL3 (also referred to as Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 Alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colourmetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The manufacturer reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml. Mean recovery is 91% for serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% for EDTA plasma (90–103%, n=5) and 95% for heparin plasma (89–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
