Rat Lysyl Oxidase Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Lysyl Oxidase Like Protein 2 (LOXL2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-LOXL2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the absorbance proportional to LOXL2 concentration.

Reported sensitivity is <0.057 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The standard protocol requires approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (80%–89%, average 84%). Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
