Rat Lymphotoxin Beta ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Lymphotoxin Beta (LTB) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-LTB antibody followed by HRP-avidin detection and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported at <6.2 pg/ml with an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The assay is suitable for serum and plasma samples.

Spike-and-recovery performance was 80%–102% in serum (n=5, average 91%), 81%–100% in EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and 80%–89% in heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
