Rat Low Density Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat low density lipoprotein (LDL) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-LDL detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a standard microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <46.8 ng/ml and the quantitative working range is 156–10000 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery has been validated with average values of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity has been assessed across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 for matched serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
