Rat Lipase, Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Lipoprotein Lipase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), using an antibody specific for Lipoprotein Lipase immobilised on the plate to capture the target, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Lipoprotein Lipase Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate visualised with TMB substrate that yields a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution.

Quantitative performance is reported with a product range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.114 ng/ml, with absorbance read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery has been characterised for serum (range 80% - 102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81% - 100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80% - 89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity reported across 1:2 to 1:16 for each matrix.

The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
