Rat Leucine Rich Alpha-2-Glycoprotein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat LRG1/LRG (Leucine Rich Alpha-2-Glycoprotein 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated microplate platform with a biotinylated anti-LRG1/LRG detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Detection is colorimetric and quantitative, with an assay time of 4h 30m.

Reported performance figures include an assay range of 3.12-200 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 1.44 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5 per matrix) gave ranges of 80%-102% for serum, 81%-100% for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% for heparin plasma, with corresponding averages of 91%, 90% and 84%. Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions for all three matrices. Kit components include a lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and not used past the stated expiration date.
