Rat Lactate Dehydrogenase A ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative determination of rat Lactate Dehydrogenase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a Biotinylated Anti-Lactate Dehydrogenase Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate; the colorimetric signal read at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of analyte bound.

Reported performance includes an assay range of 3.12–200 U/L, a sensitivity of <1.1 U/L and an assay time of 4 h 30 min. Sample recovery (n=5) was 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
