Rat Lactase ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat LCT (lactase) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-LCT antibody with HRP-avidin detection, producing a colourmetric read-out at 450 nm on a microplate reader. Manufacturer-stated performance: sensitivity <0.116 ng/ml and assay range 0.312–20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery data reported for serum (n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%); dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 is also given for the same sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and components must not be used past the stated expiration date.
