Rat L1-Cell Adhesion Molecule ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat L1 Cell Adhesion Molecule (L1CAM) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-L1CAM detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a colourimetric signal read at 450nm.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <25 pg/ml, an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. In spiked recovery testing, serum samples (n=5) gave an average of 91% (range 80-102%), EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (range 81-100%), and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) returned serum recoveries spanning 74-107%, EDTA plasma spanning 79-108%, and heparin plasma spanning 82-105% across the four dilutions.

The kit contains lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
