Rat Kruppel Like Factor 2, Lung ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat KLF2 (Kruppel Like Factor 2, Lung) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8-well strips) on which standards and samples are incubated. Captured KLF2 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-KLF2 Antibody, followed by addition of HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate yields a blue product that becomes yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated against a standard curve. The full assay is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported performance includes an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.068 ng/ml. Manufacturer recovery data show: serum (n=5) 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% (average 84%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the components should not be used past the expiration date.
