Rat Kisspeptin Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GPR54 (Kisspeptin Receptor) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for GPR54. Standards and samples are added; captured GPR54 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-GPR54 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration determined against a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Average recovery values (n=5) are: serum 91% (range 83%–100%); EDTA plasma 94% (range 90%–98%); heparin plasma 95% (range 89%–102%). Dilution linearity is characterised at 1:2 to 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
