Rat Kininogen 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Kininogen 1 in plasma. The workflow uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for Kininogen 1, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Kininogen 1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection relies on a TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader to quantify Kininogen 1 against a standard curve.

The kit provides a sensitivity of <11.8 pg/ml, an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reagents are intended for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Sample recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 80%-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has also been reported for each sample type across serial dilutions.

The kit is intended for use with plasma and supplies the reagents required to carry out the immunoassay on a pre-coated microplate platform.
