Rat Keratin 18 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro measurement of rat Cytokeratin 18 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses antibody-coated microplate wells in which the target is captured by an immobilized antibody and detected with a biotinylated anti-Cytokeratin 18 antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm.

The standard curve covers a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, and the full protocol takes 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in rat samples averaged 91% in serum (range 83-100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90-103%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%, n=5). Dilution linearity was verified at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across all three sample matrices.
