Rat Keratin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cytokeratin 1 (Keratin 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a Cytokeratin 1-specific antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Cytokeratin 1 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colour change proportional to Cytokeratin 1 concentration that is read as optical density at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is reported as an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is suitable for serum, plasma and tissue homogenate samples. Component storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
