Rat JNK1/MAPK8 Associated Membrane Protein ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich ELISA kit designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat JKAMP (JNK1/MAPK8 Associated Membrane Protein) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for JKAMP, followed by a biotinylated anti-JKAMP antibody and HRP-avidin detection. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate solution, producing a yellow product measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.61 ng/ml and assay range is 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a standard assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery data (n=5) are reported as: serum 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) is reported as: serum 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; heparin plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
