An antibody specific for IDH1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and the assay uses a biotinylated anti-IDH1 detection antibody with HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colorimetric signal is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.116 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% for serum, 81%-100% for EDTA plasma and 80%-89% for heparin plasma. Components are intended for storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
