Rat Interleukin 8 Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CXCR1 (Interleukin 8 Receptor Alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) format, a biotinylated anti-CXCR1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate for a colourmetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Stated assay time is 4h 30m, with a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml. Reported recovery (n=5) ranges from 80-102% (serum, average 91%), 81-100% (EDTA plasma, average 90%) and 80-89% (heparin plasma, average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
