Rat Interleukin 4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Interleukin 4 (IL-4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for IL-4 pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and samples are added, captured IL-4 is detected with a biotinylated anti-IL-4 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, and the signal is visualised with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

The kit provides a quantitative measurement range of 39.1–2500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <15.5 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported mean recovery values across sample matrices include 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Components supplied comprise a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, biotinylated detection antibody, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
