Rat Interleukin 25 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat IL-25 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Interleukin 25 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-25. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; bound IL-25 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-IL-25 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue colour that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 32 pg/ml, and the assay is completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In recovery testing, serum samples ranged 83–100% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 90–103% (average 96%, n=5), and heparin plasma 90–99% (average 94%, n=5). Linearity was demonstrated through serial dilutions at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
