Rat Interleukin 22 Receptor Alpha 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat IL-22 RA2/IL-22BP (Interleukin 22 Receptor Alpha 2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for IL-22 RA2/IL-22BP. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and bound analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IL-22 RA2/IL-22BP Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is 0.105 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit is validated for use with rat samples including serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Reported recovery ranges across these sample types are 80–102% for serum, 81–101% for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
