Rat Interleukin 21 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is a quantitative Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro measurement of rat Interleukin 21 (IL-21). The kit is reactive with rat samples and uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique to determine IL-21 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The standard curve covers a range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.8 pg/ml, read as optical density at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. An antibody specific for IL-21 is pre-coated onto the wells; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-21 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction yields a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to IL-21 concentration. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes and kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
