Rat Interleukin 20 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Interleukin 20 (IL-20). The assay targets rat IL-20 and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate. An antibody specific for IL-20 captures the analyte in standards and test samples, followed by detection with a Biotinylated Anti-IL-20 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 94% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity data provided for sample dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
