Rat Interleukin 19 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of rat IL-19 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for IL-19 pre-coated onto a microplate, with standards and samples added to the wells and detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IL-19 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay detects rat IL-19 with a sensitivity of 6.8 pg/ml and a standard curve range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with the complete protocol requiring 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples demonstrated average recoveries of 91%, 96%, and 95% respectively, with individual ranges of 83-100% (serum), 90-103% (EDTA plasma), and 89-102% (heparin plasma). Linearity was also demonstrated across multiple sample dilutions for each matrix.
