Rat Interleukin 17B ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Interleukin 17B (IL-17B) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate; standards and samples are bound by an immobilised anti-IL-17B antibody, then detected with a Biotinylated Anti-IL-17B Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow on addition of an acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is supplied as a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Stated sensitivity is <6.4 pg/ml and the assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. The assay is reactive with rat samples only.

Recovery was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each), with average recoveries of 91%, 95% and 96% and individual sample ranges of 83–100%, 91–100% and 91–101% respectively. Dilution linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for the same three matrices, with serum ranging 77–110%, EDTA plasma 72–109% and heparin plasma 82–110% across the dilutions tested.
