Rat Interleukin 15 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit manufactured by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Interleukin 15 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) in which IL-15 is captured by an immobilized antibody, then detected with a biotinylated anti-IL-15 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a measuring range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.4 pg/ml, and the full protocol is completed in 4h 30m. Internal validation showed average recoveries of 91% in serum (n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5), with linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, supplied with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
