Rat Interleukin 10 Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rat IL-10RA ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Interleukin 10 Receptor Alpha (IL-10RA) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform with colourmetric detection, in which IL-10RA is captured by an immobilised coat antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-IL-10RA antibody and HRP-avidin, then developed with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Stated performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.063 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery data (n=5) are reported as follows: serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–101% (average 91%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity-on-dilution data are also reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
