From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat IP-10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The detection range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <11.5 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery averaged 91% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma, with linearity maintained across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same sample matrices. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
