Rat Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 1 (ICAM1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-ICAM1 detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.113 ng/ml with a measuring range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery data report averages of 91% for serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 spans 74%–108% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 per matrix).
