Rat Intelectin 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Intelectin 1 (ITLN1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids [C0, S1]. The assay uses an antibody specific for ITLN1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips [S1]. Captured ITLN1 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-ITLN1 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with the reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader [S1].

The quantitative assay has a working range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <31 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m [S1]. Reported recovery values across spiked samples (n=5) average 91% in serum (range 80%–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%) [S1]. Kit components are to be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date [S1].
