Rat Integrin Alpha 6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Integrin alpha 6 in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips and relies on a biotinylated anti-Integrin alpha 6 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.122 ng/ml, with a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing gave mean recoveries of 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated.
