Rat Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 1 (IGFBP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IGFBP1, arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-IGFBP1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; the resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the IGFBP1 concentration is calculated from the standard curve. The quoted product range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.55 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Recovery performance is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
