Rat Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 Receptor ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat IGF1 Receptor ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat IGF1 Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, including serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read colorimetrically at 450 nm, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml.

Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) returned averages of 91% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma and 95% in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit is not to be used past its expiration date.
