Rat Insulin Degrading Enzyme ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Insulin Degrading Enzyme (IDE) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colour development read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The standard curve covers 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.129 ng/ml. Spiked recovery has been validated in serum (80%-102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, n=5), and dilution linearity has been confirmed across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions in all three matrices. The kit includes a pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
