Rat Inhibin Beta C ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat INHBC in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format with an antibody specific for INHBC, followed by detection with a Biotinylated Anti-INHBC Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, yielding a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of INHBC captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance specifications include an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 25 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery across a dilution series is 91% in serum, 89% in EDTA plasma, and 90% in Heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
