The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for IL-9, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm [S1].

The product range is 15.625-1000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL, and the assay is specific for IL-9 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants [S1]. Total assay time is 4 hours, and serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing [S1].
