Rat IgM ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat IgM in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma samples.

The kit is based on the quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique, with a monoclonal antibody specific for rat IgM pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells for the first incubation. After washing away any unbound substances, an HRP-linked detect antibody specific for IgM is added to the wells. Following a further wash, substrate solution is added and color develops in proportion to the amount of IgM bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform, with an assay range of 0.63 - 40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.17 ng/ml. The ready-to-use kit comes with an easy-to-follow protocol. Store at +4°C. Do not use past expiration date.
